The largest gathering and demonstration in the contemporary history of Iranians in the diaspora was held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, corresponding to Bahman 25, 1404, in response to the call of Prince Reza Pahlavi, entitled “International Day of Action” in solidarity with the Revolution of the Lion and the Sun of Iran.
These demonstrations and gatherings were organized by Iranians in the diaspora in three major cities of Munich, Toronto, and Los Angeles, and several other cities around the world, simultaneously with the Munich Security Conference.
In this call and urgent action, Prince Reza Pahlavi listed six clear demands:
Breaking the machine of repression.
Cutting the regime’s financial resources.
Freedom of the internet and communications for the people.
Expulsion of diplomats and prosecution of criminals.
Immediate release of all political prisoners.
And readiness to recognize the legitimate transitional government for Iran’s transition to democracy.
According to police statistics; In Munich, more than 250,000 people, in Toronto more than 500,000, and in Los Angeles more than 350,000 Iranians took to the streets to support the demands of the people at home on the International Day of Action. Iranians in the diaspora also welcomed the prince’s call in more than 80 other cities around the world, and according to planners’ calculations, the number of Iranians present worldwide is estimated to be between 2 million and 4 million.
