(Subtitled)
The Return of the University to the Nation; February 22 and the Paradigm Shift at the Heart of the University
February 22, is no longer just a date on the calendar. It was the day that Iranian universities, after five decades of ideological struggle, made a different sound.
From Tehran University to Ariyamehr, from National University to Polytechnic and Ferdowsi, a generation that is neither indebted to the narrative of 1979 nor a prisoner of the guerrilla warfare of the 1970s, today shouted only one name: Iran, Shah and Pahlavi.
It was a sign of a paradigm shift.
Perhaps history will write later.
February 22, was the day that Iranian universities returned to the nation.
