Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer claims US military action in Iran is a “hard sell” to the American people. “American audiences don’t usually have a wide tolerance for foreign policy,” Mr Spicer told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. “The bigger issue in Iran is that explaining to people why it’s in our national interest is a little bit more complicated than, say, Venezuela. “With Iran, it does pose a threat and instability in the region, but it’s a lot harder of a sell to the American people.”
