The Era of Mohammad Reza Shahi; Equal Rights for Women and Men
Pahlavi, like a tireless fighter for human rights, was always fighting and striving to achieve the rights of the Iranian people. Both in the field of social services and in international forums. With the granting of equal political and social rights to Iranian women by Mohammad Reza Shah and other advantages and privileges that Reza Shah had given to Iranian women, which began with the unveiling of women’s veils on January 7, 1935, Iranian women achieved the same rights as women in Western countries, with the difference that Western women had fought for each of these rights for many years, but these rights were granted to Iranian women by Pahlavi.
