Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan condemned the latest attacks on Iran, calling them a clear violation of international law, and offered condolences to the Iranian people, including for the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Speaking at an event in Ankara, Erdogan said Turkey shares the pain of its neighbor and warned that the escalating conflict could have serious regional and global consequences. He stressed that the priority must be securing a ceasefire and opening the door to dialogue. Erdogan added that Turkey would intensify diplomatic contacts at all levels until calm is restored in the region.
