Former IDF spokesperson Jonathan Conricus has spoken on the reports by Reuters claiming Mojtaba Khamenei has been chosen to replace his father as Iran’s supreme leader. “You could look at him [Mojtaba Khamenei] as a marionette, someone who will be controlled by the IRGC,” Mr Conricus told Sky News Australia. “What it means is the hardliners … will now have more power.”
