Former army director-general Ian Langford says for a full regime change to be made in Iran, ‘there needs to be a change in presence”. “There now needs to be an alternate security provider or an alternate form of government,” Mr Langford told Sky News host Steve Price. “A regime change really can’t occur in an absolute sense unless there is an alternative security provider on the ground. “I suspect that the Americans, and to some degree the Israelis, have a plan for this.”
