The World Health Organization (WHO) says it has verified 13 attacks on healthcare facilities in Iran during the ongoing U.S.–Israeli military campaign. One additional attack was reported in Lebanon. WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told reporters that four healthcare workers were killed and 25 injured. WHO Eastern Mediterranean Regional Director Hanan Balkhy said hospitals suffered damage from nearby strikes and warned that medical supply chains are being jeopardized. Operations at a regional logistics hub have been temporarily suspended due to insecurity, airspace closures and restrictions affecting access to the Strait of Hormuz, raising concerns about humanitarian aid delivery as the conflict escalates.
