Ten days after the first US-Israeli strikes, the close relationship between the allies is experiencing its first strains as Donald Trump faces growing pressure over the impact of the war against Iran. The US president said on Monday that the war would be over ‘soon’, arguing that Iran no longer had a ‘navy’, ‘air force’ or ‘telecommunications’. Israel though appears set on inflicting irreversible damage on the Iranian regime. FRANCE 24’s Emerald Maxwell reports.
