The UAE’s ports and airports are critical to global shipping and air traffic. Now they’re the targets of Iranian drone attacks, forcing authorities to temporarily suspend operations. The UAE has been hit harder than any other Gulf state by Iranian attacks. Is it powerless to act, condemned to remaining stuck in the epicenter of an escalating war? Will it seek to pressure the US to end the war? Or is it willing to hit back, with strikes on Iran or seizures of Iranian assets?
