Fed Chair Powell says Iran war’s effect on economy ‘too soon to know’

The Federal Reserve decided against cutting the federal interest rate Wednesday, announcing it had decided to “maintain the target range for the federal funds rate at 3.5 to 3.75%.” Fed Chair Jerome Powell says despite the economy holding at a “solid pace,” outliers such as the war in Iran could have an effect on the economy.
