In his article “How Did We Remain Iranian?”, Mohammad Ali Foroughi writes: “Wouldn’t a people who consider themselves the descendants of people like Keykhbad, Keykhosro, Ardeshir, Anushirvan, Goodarz, Rostam, Jamasep, and Bazrajmehr have pride and self-respect? And is it possible for them to forget their past, submit to humiliation and humiliation, and not make an effort?”
In my opinion, if the Iranian nation has managed to maintain its position in the struggle of the ages, despite all the calamities and hardships that have befallen it, it is because of this.” The national uprising of December, which is now in its third week, has once again recorded a “Shahnameh” image in history before the eyes of the world. In my opinion, if the Iranian nation has managed to maintain its position in the struggle of the ages, despite all the calamities and hardships it has faced, it is because of this.”
Citizens like Kaveh, Gardafrid, Rostam, Tahmineh, and Esfandiar rose up to fight against Zahhak for the happiness of the homeland and their compatriots. Millions of citizens, empty-handed but with strong faith and deep hope, have rebelled against the 47 years of corruption and mismanagement of the Islamic Republic throughout Iran; the government has opened fire on the protesting nation with weapons of war, killing tens of thousands of citizens.
The Islamic Republic has taken the next step in a wave of unprecedented repression and the implementation of the dark days of the “sixties” by holding field trials, executing, imprisoning, and confiscating the property of protesters. In such circumstances, statements and efforts, from Prince Reza Pahlavi to political activists and all Iranians in the diaspora, regardless of their views and political affiliations, and concerns from human rights activists and foreign politicians, should be focused on a clear answer: What is effective and immediate assistance to the Iranian people at this stage, and within what framework should it be?
Undoubtedly, the dispersion of solutions, confusion in goal setting, and incoherence in the use of efficient tools can cause “serious damage” to the continuation of the Iranian nation’s protests, especially since the Islamic Republic has been able to dominate the streets, albeit temporarily, by using armed repression and creating conditions “similar to martial law,” and is preparing to create “Stalinist repression” with a deadly throb and an intra-structural settlement to create a “survival guarantee.”
The reality is that this uprising has come a long way, and has claimed tens of thousands of lives, but it is still far from victory. Although “blood never runs dry” and the Iranian nation has shown that it stands ready to break the anti-Iranian structure that emerged from the 1998 revolution and overthrow the Islamic Republic, and put an end to the Islamic Republic, but one must be careful not to miss the “opportunity”, which this time has appeared in an unprecedented, golden and bloody form!
