Strategic Analysis Australia Head of Research Marcus Hellyer weighs in on reports of a ceasefire deal being debated between the US and Iran. “The problem is it’s very hard to negotiate with somebody else if you keep changing your negotiating position,” Mr Hellyer told Sky News host James Macpherson. “If you’re the Iranians, I think you would be rather confused about what exactly it is that Trump wants. “If you’re the Iranians, I think you would be extremely cautious about any form of negotiations now with Trump.”
