Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi warned on Sunday of a “decisive and immediate response” from the military in the event of a French and British deployment in the Strait of Hormuz, following the announcement by Paris and London of the deployment of warships to the region.
For his part, Emmanuel Macron reacted to the Iranian threats: “There has never been any question of a deployment… but we are ready,” the President of the Republic asserted.
