The Era of Mohammad Reza Shah; The Unity of the Shah and the Nation

In his Nowruz message on Farvardin 1, 1962, Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi said to the Iranian nation: “A country that wants to achieve within a few years the development that others have achieved over centuries must use all the material and spiritual resources available in the country and not be afraid to endure hardships on this path.” By the beginning of the 1940s, the face of imperial Iran had changed, and the Shah now intended to accelerate fundamental changes in society.
