Great March for IRAN – London

We have seen your courage.We have seen women take to the streets despite the threat of execution, torture, and oppression.
We have seen young people give their lives for the freedom of their country.
And we know that the people of Iran have stood for years against a regime that has taken an entire nation hostage.

Today, I invite Iranians living in Britain to stand alongside us.
Come with your flags.
Come with pride in your Iranian identity.
The world must know that the people of Iran have not surrendered.

You understand better than anyone the danger of Islamic extremism, because you have lived under it for years and fought against it.

We stand with the people of Iran.
With the women who fought.
With the families who lost their loved ones.
And with a nation that is still fighting for freedom.

Let us walk shoulder to shoulder.
For freedom.
For truth.
And for the future.
