Former US Army vice chief of staff General Jack Keane calls for the US Military to return to a “full throttle combat” operation in Iran. “Realise no deal is going to be had here … we have a very comprehensive plan to weaken this regime significantly,” Mr Keane told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. “Eventually, we would open the Strait of Hormuz. I’m absolutely convinced that it would achieve the objectives we started out with in the beginning. I don’t think any deal would achieve those.”
