Iran’s top negotiator Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf says Tehran will not approve any agreement with the United States until it is certain the rights of the Iranian people are secured. Speaking after being re-elected as speaker of parliament, Qalibaf said Iran has “absolutely no trust” in the promises of its adversaries and will only judge any deal by tangible results. He said Iran will not fulfill its commitments in return until those guarantees are achieved.
