Iran’s semiofficial Fars news agency posted a video on Tuesday on its Telegram channel which it said showed vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. According to a Fars correspondent, the recent footage showed Iranian control over the Strait of Hormuz. According to Associated Press meanwhile, a state media IRIB correspondent reported on Tuesday that ship owners from around the world can apply for passage through the Strait of Hormuz at any time of day through the Persian Gulf Strait Authority. He added that the Authority will issue a passage permit if approved after reviewing the application.
