Iran’s Mehr News Agency is reporting clashes at sea between Iran and US forces. This comes as the US military has begun launching what it calls “self-defence strikes” against Iranian targets in the country following orders from US President Donald Trump. US Central Command said in a post on X the strikes were in response to Iran’s “unwarranted and continued aggression”.
