A new round of nuclear talks has begun between the Islamic Republic and the Donald Trump administration. These talks have been ongoing for three decades, and for many Iranians, phrases like “nuclear energy,” “uranium enrichment,” and “nuclear case” conjure up the heavy consequences of long-term sanctions and the economic and political consequences they have had for Iranian citizens.
Kayhan London discussed the latest round of nuclear talks between the Islamic Republic and the United States, and the outlook for the talks, in an interview with Bahram Ghiasi, an international affairs expert on nuclear issues.
