Israel’s US ambassador on Friday confirmed a new ceasefire with Hezbollah. According to Lebanon’s health minister at least 47 people were killed in a series of Israeli airstrikes before the truce took hold. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned the Iranian proxy that it would “pay a heavy price” after four Israeli soldiers were killed in clashes.
