U.S. Central Command says American forces successfully intercepted a ballistic missile attack launched from Iran yesterday, with the conflict widening early this morning as Jordan’s military says it also intercepted and destroyed five Iranian missiles. U.S. officials say all the missiles were intercepted and that U.S. forces “remain vigilant.” Yesterday’s launch came just before U.S. and Saudi fighter aircrafts carried out coordinated strikes on multiple Iranian-backed sites in eastern Iraq.
