US President Donald Trump says negotiations with Iran will begin this afternoon, after calling off new strikes on the country.
However, this morning, Iranian officials have denied that any talks are planned – saying their position remains unchanged while US “aggression” continues.
It follows President Trump’s decision to pause planned strikes on Iran over the weekend.
