Canada’s Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre accused the Liberal government of weak security vetting and lenient bail policies that he said allow IRGC operatives to threaten Canadians and Iranian-Canadians without consequences.
In an exclusive interview with Iran International’s Mahsa Mortazavi, Poilievre pointed to recent US court filings and foreign-linked incidents on Canadian soil, calling for strict enforcement of the foreign agent registry, the immediate deportation of IRGC agents, an end to diplomacy with the Iranian government, and a “jail, not bail” approach to protect Canadian communities.
