همزمان با دفن و تباهی علی خامنهای در ایران و در اعتراض به نادیده گرفته شدن موازین و مسایل حقوق بشری، اعدامها، زندان ها و کشتارها در تعاملات جهانی با جمهوری اسلامی، از فضای جام جهانی و رویدادهای مختلف در مرکز شهر واشنگتن دیسی به عنوان فرصتی برای آگاهیرسانی استفاده میکنیم.
هدف ما زنده نگه داشتن نام جانباختگان، درخواست آزادی زندانیان سیاسی، رساندن پیام «نه به اعدام» به افکار عمومی جهان، و اعتراض به بیتوجهی نهادهای بینالمللی نسبت به نقض مستمر حقوق بشر در ایران است.

As Ali Khamenei is buried in Iran, we gather to protest the global community’s disregard for human rights—including mass executions, unjust imprisonments, and brutal killings—in their dealings with the Islamic Republic. We are leveraging the energy of the World Cup and downtown Washington D.C. events as a powerful opportunity to raise our voices.
Our mission is to honor the fallen, demand the release of political prisoners, deliver a clear “No to Executions” message to the world, and condemn international institutions for ignoring the ongoing human rights abuses in Iran.
