Iranians are staging large-scale demonstrations in cities around the world after a call by exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi for global rallies in solidarity with anti-government protests inside Iran. A large rally is being held in Munich, Germany, with protests raising a 50-meter Lion and Sun flag with the help of two cranes. Iranians have also taken to the streets in Melbourne, Australia. Aerial images from Melbourne, shared by Iran International, show a large gathering of Iranians in the city, carrying the Iranian flag and a large poster of Reza Pahlavi. A similar rally is being held in Sydney, with protesters chanting “Javid Shah,” meaning “Long live the Shah.” More protests were also held in Adelaide and Tasmania. New Zealand is also the venue where Iranians took to the streets in solidarity of anti-government protesters in their homeland. Participants chanted “The Revolutionary Guards are terrorists” during the rally. Videos of the rally show Iranians living in New Zealand gathering in Auckland on Saturday. A similar protest was also held in Wellington. Meanwhile, Berlin has illuminated its trademark Brandenburg Gate with the message “Freedom for Iran” in a show of solidarity with people in Iran. In a post on X, Pahlavi had called on Iranians to take to the streets on February 14, and urge the international community to take urgent, practical steps in support of the Iranian people. Pahlavi had described Munich, Los Angeles, and Toronto as the main gathering points for protesters. http://youtube.com/kanal13az/join – click here and support Kanal13 monthly for distributing more videos and independent journalism
