The Iranian regime has managed to penetrate Israel’s Iron Dome using cluster munitions. Banned by around 100 countries, these missiles account for half of the projectiles fired by Iran toward Israel. Once launched, the missile opens at altitude and can disperse between 20 and 80 small bombs, each containing 1 to 5 kg of explosives. These missiles severely test Israeli air defenses. According to the IDF, approximately 85% of the projectiles are intercepted.
