Two people facing first-degree murder charges in the death of Masood Masjoody, a critic of the Iranian regime, made a brief appearance Monday morning in a B.C. court. Mehdi Razavi, 48, of Maple Ridge, B.C., and 45-year-old Arezou Soltani of North Vancouver were arrested Friday in connection with Masjoody’s death. Masjoody was a former instructor at Simon Fraser University (SFU) and investigators say the victim and the accused had a prior relationship that was revealed through social media posts and court filings. Kristen Robinson has the details on the case.
