On Tuesday evening, a memorial ceremony was held for Iran’s supreme spiritual leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, at the Imam Ali Islamic Center in Järfälla, north of Stockholm. At the same time, exiled Iranians who are critical of the regime gathered outside the area to celebrate after the news of his death. The police were on site with several patrols to keep the groups separate.
