Donald Trump has stated that he has ordered the US Navy to “shoot down and kill every boat, no matter how small, that is laying mines” in the Strait of Hormuz.
“There must be no hesitation,” the US president wrote on his Truth Social network.
“Our minesweepers are clearing the strait right now. I hereby order that this activity continue, but at three times its current level,” he added.
