Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered his cabinet to open talks with Lebanon, with discussions expected to focus on disarming the Iran‑backed militant group Hezbollah. Aaron David Miller of the Carnegie Foundation for International Peace spoke to DW about the feasibility of Israel’s goals in Lebanon and his assessment of Donald Trump’s current US foreign policy.
