The two leaders reportedly spoke by phone earlier this week amid rising concerns about the possibility of renewed conflict with Iran. Netanyahu has highlighted his close relationship with the US President, which some critics have said could limit his ability to oppose Trump’s requests. The Israeli Prime Minister is reportedly supportive of resuming military action against Iran, stating that objectives related to Tehran’s nuclear and missile programs have not yet been achieved.
