US President Donald Trump says the United States and Iran are moving closer to reaching an agreement. Iran and Pakistan have reportedly submitted a revised proposal to the United States aimed at helping end the conflict in the region. Speaking to CBS, the President said he would discuss a possible extension of the ceasefire with Iran with his advisers. Pakistani officials involved in the negotiations say an interim agreement is in its final stages and describe it as ‘fairly comprehensive’. Reports suggest a deal could be reached as soon as Sunday, United States time. In comments reported by Axios, Mr Trump said: “Either we reach a good deal, or I’ll blow them to a thousand hells.”
