The Sunday Telegraph has revealed networks claiming to be acting on behalf of the Iranian regime are using the encrypted messaging platform Telegram to gather intelligence. Users are being offered money in return for information on the Israeli diaspora in Australia. The AFP is aware of the issue but has not commented further on how they are responding.
