The Australian columnist Tom Switzer says the reality is Iran will do what’s in its “best interest,” as the US and China hold high-stakes talks over the Middle East war and the Strait of Hormuz. “China would like the Strait of Hormuz to be completely open because they rely a lot on fossil fuels going through,” Mr Switzer told Sky News host Chris Kenny. “But, they’re not going to be told by any other power, including a close ally like Beijing or Moscow, to tell them how to conduct affairs.”
