JUST RELEASED: Never-Before-Seen Footage of Millions of Iranians Defying the Regime
After 88 days of internet restrictions and communications disruptions inside Iran, previously unseen footage is finally reaching the outside world—and what it shows is extraordinary.
In this video, I share newly surfaced videos and images from the January 8–9 demonstrations that took place across Tehran and cities throughout Iran. These demonstrations followed calls from Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi and showcased thousands—and according to supporters, potentially much larger numbers—of Iranians publicly expressing opposition to the Islamic Republic and demanding fundamental political change.
For decades, the Islamic Republic has attempted to control the narrative through censorship, intimidation, internet shutdowns, and information warfare. But despite those efforts, Iranians continue to find ways to communicate with the world. Now, with internet access restored, footage that was previously inaccessible is finally emerging.
In this livestream, we examine the videos, discuss what they may reveal about public sentiment inside Iran, and analyze the broader implications for the future of the country. We also explore the growing support for the Shah of Iran Reza Pahlavi, secular democracy, the role of the Iranian diaspora, and why these developments matter not only for Iran but also for the Middle East, Israel, North America, Europe, and the wider democratic world.
The Iranian people have repeatedly demonstrated their desire for freedom, human rights, women’s rights, freedom of speech, religious freedom, and accountable government. The question many are now asking is whether the Islamic Republic can continue to maintain control in the face of ongoing domestic opposition and increasing international scrutiny.
Join me as we review this newly released footage, separate facts from speculation, and discuss what may come next for Iran and the Iranian people.
