According to The Sunday Telegraph, the groups which claim to be acting on behalf of the Iranian regime are using the encrypted messaging platform Telegram to seek intelligence. Users are reportedly being offered money in exchange for information about Israeli communities and businesses in Australia. The Australian Federal Police is aware of the matter but has not provided further comment on its response.
