In a post on Truth Social, US President Donald Trump has rejected Iran’s peace proposal response. “I have just read the response from Iran’s so-called ‘representatives’.
I don’t like it,” Mr Trump said. “Totally unacceptable!” Iran’s news agency reported that Tehran’s response was centred on bringing an end to hostilities and ensuring maritime security in the Strait of Hormuz.
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif confirmed that he had received Iran’s reply to the one-page, 14-point US memorandum of understanding. The document reportedly outlines measures including the suspension of Iran’s nuclear enrichment, the lifting of sanctions, and the restoration of free passage through the Strait.
