Republican strategist Matt Klink claims the US is “never going to allow” the Strait of Hormuz to open if Iran can have access to a nuclear weapon. “Iran needs to know that America is never going to allow the Straits to open if Iran can have access to a nuclear weapon,” Mr Klink told Sky News Australia. “Right now, about 70 per cent of the American public doesn’t want Iran to have a nuclear weapon.”
