CommSec’s James Gruber says Wall Street saw a volatile day amid speculation of a US-Iran deal. “Stocks were down quite a bit at the open as oil rose, but then that turned around late in the day as speculation filtered through that an Iran-US deal may be close,” Mr Gruber told Sky News Australia. “That was disputed later publicly, but that didn’t matter because markets rose as a consequence.”
