Iran has accused the US of violating the ongoing ceasefire after American forces carried out air strikes on Iranian vessels and missile launchers. Yet Tehran remains optimistic about talks to finalize an agreement with the US to extend the ceasefire and potentially reopen the Strait of Hormuz. But what is the feeling in the US? Has the war damaged Trump and could Iran secure a deal it can sell as a win?
