Independent Women’s Forum Senior Fellow Qanta Ahmed discussed US Vice President JD Vance’s recent remarks about Israeli politicians who have criticised the US-Iran peace deal. “All of the US investment in Israel’s weapons research and development comes back and benefits the United States first,” Dr Ahmed told Sky News host Rita Panahi. “Vance’s attitudes are really stinging and have offended a huge part of American voters that are pro-Israel that are Jewish. “If anything, this has exposed Vice President Vance’s own politics or his immaturity, so that was not an appreciated comment.”
