Trump threatens Iran with economic ‘D-Day’ in ongoing war

President Trump is again escalating his economic threats against Iran, as the war drags on deeper into its sixth month. The president posted on social media yesterday that he is launching a ‘crushing economic operation’ against Tehran calling it quote, ‘economic warfare’ and ‘economic D-day.’ Trump added that there will be quote ‘tremendous economic consequences’ on any country that provides quote ‘any type of lifeline to Iran.’ Meanwhile, Trump continues praising North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, claiming he plans on visiting with the regime leader later this year.
