Trump’s Iran war hits 6 month mark as Tehran feels ‘they have the upper hand’

Today marks six months since President Trump launched the war in Iran. The President announced the start of the war back in late February, with the main goal of ensuring Iran never obtains a nuclear weapon—a goal that has still not been achieved. Trump then repeatedly insisted to Americans that this was simply an “excursion” set to last just a matter of weeks. Now, six months later, the Strait of Hormuz—which was fully open before the war—has been the focus of the fighting. MS NOW’s Inzamam Rashid joins Morning Joe live from Dubai to explain why Tehran feels like they have the upper hand.
