Treasurer Jim Chalmers tells News Breakfast that he recognises Australians are worried about the war in the Middle East and there will be flow-on effects from the conflict on the Australian economy. He says Australia is ‘well placed’ as a country and his government has taken a number of steps to mitigate the risk including cracking down on price gouging at petrol stations.
