Why does the US need an amphibious ship with Marines and boots on the ground to take over Iran? Well, the US has been bombarding the Iranian shoreline for weeks. The solution is these amphibious ships that can launch hovercrafts and transport Marines with assault vehicles. The idea is to hunt down hidden launchers and attack all the targets.
