More than 200,000 people have gathered outside the Munich Security Conference to demand a regime change in Iran, while many more rallied in major cities around the world as part of a global day of action against the country’s Islamic regime. Iran’s former crown prince Reza Pahlavi addressed the crowd in Germany and condemned the Iranian Revolutionary Guard’s brutal crackdown on dissidents. Middle East studies researcher, Dr Ali Mamouri says the Iranian government is still holding strong despite intense pressure from inside and outside the country.
