My compatriots, the great and brave nation of Iran,
Today, with the increasing tensions and the possibility of spreading attacks, especially in the south of the country, I want to speak to you; especially to the honorable people of Sistan and Baluchestan, Hormozgan, Bushehr, Khuzestan and all the residents of the Persian Gulf and Makran Sea coasts.
The war and crisis that our country is facing today has only one cause and originator: the Islamic Republic regime.
But the main war, the war of the Islamic Republic against the Iranian nation, began forty-seven years ago and has continued to this day.
The entire Iranian nation has been wounded by this regime. Let us not say that the south of Iran has just entered the war. The south of Iran entered the war the day Baloch children fell victim to gunmen due to the lack of drinking water and basic infrastructure; the day in Sistan and Baluchestan, the land of Rostam and the heart of Iranian myths, young people were forced to collect fuel to make a living; the day Hormozgan province and Bandar Abbas, Iran’s largest port, were left in poverty and deprivation; the day Bushehr, the supplier of a large part of the country’s gas, and Khuzestan, the heart of Iran’s oil industry, were left without the benefit of their wealth.
But a free Iran will be a different Iran.
With the establishment of a national, efficient, and development-oriented government, Sistan and Baluchestan can become one of the main engines of the country’s growth and prosperity, relying on its strategic location, young human resources, and access to open waters. Chabahar can be the heart of Iranian trade and the gateway connecting the Indian Ocean, Central Asia, and global markets; by updating the same comprehensive program that was supposed to be implemented before the 1957 disaster.
Hormozgan, Bushehr, Khuzestan and the Persian Gulf islands can become the richest and most advanced regions of Iran by developing trade, tourism, industry and attracting investment.
My compatriots,
This warmongering regime has neither built a shelter for the people nor is it capable of defending the country’s skies. While hiding underground, its leaders are using schools, hospitals and other civilian centers for military purposes, and have turned the Iranian people, including conscripts in the barracks, into human shields.
In the war that the Islamic Republic has imposed on the country, your first and most important duty is to protect your lives, security and health and that of your families. Because you are Iran’s capital and the real soldiers in the battle to reclaim the homeland.
In this regard, my Office of Communications and Media will publish the necessary recommendations and guidelines to increase the security of my compatriots.
Fighting and preparing for final victory is a constant duty. In the final battle, the more capable we are and the weaker the Islamic Republic, the faster and cheaper victory will be achieved.
Enduring Iran
