US President Donald Trump says he is ‘not satisfied’ with a proposal for peace with Iran, as the White House accuses Iranian state media of fabricating a draft agreement to end the war in the Middle East. The reported deal would allow Tehran to retain control of the Strait of Hormuz alongside Oman. The US leader appears to be open to long, drawn out peace talks as he continues to resist domestic political pressure ahead of the mid-term elections.
